Last year’s Stand Up for America headliner was John Michael Montgomery. Montgomery performed at the annual celebration on Saturday, June 30 at the Nashville Park Amphitheater.

 

 

John Michael knows how to choose songs that touch people. Whether love songs like “I Swear” and “I Can Love You Like That” or good time celebrations like “Sold (the Grundy County Auction Incident)” and “Be My Baby Tonight.” This ability has earned John Michael 15 number one singles, over 16 million album sales and numerous industry and fan-voted awards.  Three years later, his 2004 single, “Letters From Home,” is still impacting people.
