Mainstreet Musician Supply was born of a love of music and musical instruments and a longing for the opportunity to develop a business where musicians could come and have a bit different experience than that of a chain store.
Greg and Christy Nunley have kept that goal alive by searching out unique instruments and offering personal service to their customers. They offer repair services for used musical instruments, which is a huge asset to the many musicians and band students in the area.
They have branched out to incorporate Greg's love of artistic creativity and guitars. He now makes custom guitars and offers musicians a chance to own a personally designed, one of a kind instrument. There is a waiting list for the guitars as each one is handcrafted completely.
The used instruments that Mainstreet Musician carry gives students the chance to own their own band instrument instead of being forced to rent.
Mainstreet Musician is housed in the old Rector Drug Store building, which was constructed in the late 1800's, on the corner of Main and Clark.
Store hours are 12 - 5 Tuesday through Friday and 10 - 5 on Saturday.
